Kraken is one of the largest and most popular cryptocurrency exchanges in the world. With Kraken, you can buy, sell and trade various digital assets like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and more. To access the exchange and manage your account, you need to log in to Kraken. Here is a guide on how to login to your Kraken account.

How to Login to Kraken

  1. Go to the Kraken website at www.kraken.com. Click on the “Sign In” button located on the right-hand side of the screen.

  2. This will open the Kraken login page.In the first box, type your email address.

  3. Next, enter your master key or account password in the second field. The master key is the password you set when creating your Kraken account.

  4. Click on “Sign in”. This will log you into your Kraken account dashboard.

Resetting Kraken Account Password

If you have forgotten your Kraken account password, you can easily reset it:

  1. On the Kraken login page, click on “Forgot password?” below the password field.

  2. Enter your registered email address and click “Continue”.

  3. Kraken will send a password reset email to your inbox. Open it and click on the reset link.

  4. This will open a page to create a new account password. In the first box, type your email address.

  5. Click “Reset Password” to set your new password. With the new password, you are ready to log in.

Enabling 2FA for Added Security

To further secure your Kraken account, you should enable 2-factor authentication (2FA). Here are the two-factor authentication (2FA) steps:

  1. After logging in, go to “Security” settings.

  2. Under the “Two-factor authentication” section, click “Enable two-factor”.

  3. Scan the QR code shown using an authenticator app like Google Authenticator.

  4. Input the 6-digit code from the app and click “Enable 2FA”.

Once 2FA is enabled, you need to input the authenticator code in addition to your password when logging in to Kraken. This provides an additional layer of protection for your account.
